Model CAEP/Hood/ IC –
Supplies breathable air for 15 minutes. Cylinder is mounted with a specially designed pressure reducing valve having pressure gauge, ON/OFF knob and constant flow arrangement attached to clear Swept Back Design TYCHO Advanced hood made of Light weight Nylon taffeta fabric with breathing tube having inbuilt sound muffling system . One exhalation port, polycarbonate visor, elasticated at the neck with 12 inch long bib. The air inlet is from the back with quick connection. It has head band with elastic to enable proper fitment to any head size. The airflow falls on the visor inside the hood to avoid misting.
The incoming hose from cylinder to Hood does not dangle in front.
The Cylinder is held in place in a webbing case suitable for shoulder mounting. The cylinder system is hanged sideways through an adjustable belt and held in position by an adjustable waist belt. This type of cylinder positioning provides advantage while, running or bending during escape as the cylinder does not come obstruct as in case when cylinder is hung from the neck.
